Quality production
Many do not realize, but Australia is not the only producer of Black Opal. We are also producing black and dark based stone that is totally natural. There is treated and dyed stone coming from India, however we do not offer any unnatural products. It is good for you to be aware.

A better look
Production can vary and depending on the conditions, so different quality is produced. These stones have been in the earth for a very long time, a true gem of Ethiopia and the world.

Natural
stone
Opal forms naturally over millions of years as silica-rich water flows into cracks and cavities in sedimentary or volcanic rock. When the water evaporates, it deposits microscopic silica spheres that arrange in a precise, layered pattern. This structure diffracts light, creating opal’s vibrant play-of-color. The process relies on repeated cycles of water infiltration and drying, gradually building the gemstone’s unique beauty.
You may certify your stones with GIA or other respected gem authorities as needed. We do not currently offer such service.
